THE MAN WHO VISUALIZED FAITH
Born in a Christian family in Kerala on March 10, 1949, Pastor Samuelkutty Mathai accepted Jesus as his Savior in his early youth. He served as a Sunday school teacher in his church for several years and participated in other spiritual activities as well. When he was 24, he was affected by a lethal disease. When all hope of his survival was lost, he said to God, God, if you allow me to live again in this world, I will surely do your ministry”. And God healed him.family

Pastor Samuelkutty Mathai reached Delhi on January 22, 1975 in search of a job. Starting with a small job, he later became the manager of Sabina Printing Press and remained in that post for ten years. In 1980, he married Elizabeth. A sister-in-charge in a Govt. hospital, she is an ideal partner in his ministry and life. God blessed them with three children, Sabina, Samson and Sonia. Sabina is a staff nurse and is married to Shibu Thampi. Samson is a BD student in Union Biblical Seminary, Pune. Sonia is a III year B.Sc. nursing student.

Even before dedicating himself to fulltime ministry, Pastor  Samuelkutty Mathai was very active in evangelism. He was instrumental in pioneering Sharon Fellowship Church in North India. In 1977, he started the Faridabad Christian Youth Movement with the aim to reach the unreached in Haryana. He served as the joint secretary of Christian Evangelical Movement in North India. Later he became the general secretary of Pentecostal Youth Fellowship in Delhi for three and half years.

In the year 1989, God reminded him of his call and gave a vision to start a new ministry. At first, he hesitated citing many excuses. But, the definite call of God and the burden for the perishing souls made him put his foot forward to tread the path of faith and realize his vision. There was nobody to help and encourage him, but God led him in a particular way. Thus, Indian Christian
